PolyPhoenix - Tee Piece - PPSU 3 Inch TC
3 Inch Tri-Clover x 3 Inch Tri-Clover x 3 Inch Tri-Clover Tee section for the Modular PolyPhoenix distillation range. This particular piece can be used in multiple orientations and in many other uses other than distillation.
This Tee Piece features a 1/2" NPT Male Thread of the back of it for a wide range of fittings to be attached to it.

Any KegLand 1/2" Quick Swivel Connector with Heat Proof adjustment molding.
Most commonly fitted are:
KL39567 KL QS 1/2" x SS End Cap (18mm)
KL37952 KL QS 1/2" x 4mm Silicone Bore Thermowell Plug
KL31615 KL QS 1/2" x 8mm Straight duotight Barb
KL31608 KL QS 1/2" x 6.35mm Straight duotight Barb
It also has stabiliser fins on the side that fit an KL27427 M6 x 14mm - Stainless Wing Nut and Wing Bolt
This looks like plastic? Isn't plastic bad for distillation?
In short, this piece is made out of Polyphenylsulfone (PPSU)
PPSU is an excellent choice for components that are exposed to high temperatures (up to 200°C) and corrosive media due to its exceptional chemical resistance. As well as being extremely impact resistant. It is also free of any plasticisers and BPA materials.
We have decided to use this type of plastic because it also has superior thermal and mechanical properties with the added benefit of being transparent. This will allow us to injection mold intricate parts that would have been near impossible to do in stainless steel or lab-grade glass. Because this is a very unique type of plastic, it comes at a much higher cost per kg than other industrial plastics. So much so that it costs more than stainless steel.
